As an Executive Vice President and Senior Consultant with NorthStar Partners, John’s functional expertise encompasses all aspects of strategic marketing, brand management, product management, new product innovation, digital/social marketing, sales management, customer marketing and E-commerce. John works with a range of clients to identify and commercialize unrealized growth opportunities.
John was classically trained in FMCG Brand Management at GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare and Johnson & Johnson where he built a foundation that has allowed him to succeed in roles like VP Marketing, VP/General Manager and Chief Marketing Officer at Helen of Troy, Newell Brands and PE-backed Brown Jordan International.
Prior to moving into Brand Marketing at GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare, John held a series of Sales Management roles at GSK of increasing responsibility including the national account management of Walmart.
John earned his MBA from Pepperdine University and holds a BS from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, TN.
